We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Office Administrator to join our team.
The successful candidate will play an important role in supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the office, managing administrative tasks and providing support across various departments. This position would suit a proactive individual with excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to manage a varied workload effectively.
This is a part-time, office-based position working 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday. We are flexible regarding the daily working hours, provided the hours are worked across all five days.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage general office administration, including answering telephone calls and responding to emails professionally and courteously.
- Assist the Buyer by maintaining organised and accurate physical and digital filing systems.
- Take full ownership of the Company Training Matrix, ensuring records remain accurate and up to date.
- Complete data entry tasks accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain and update company records, documents and administrative systems.
- Provide administrative support to other departments as required.
- Assist with ad hoc tasks and projects to support the wider business.
- Help ensure the office remains organised and operates efficiently.
Skills and Experience
- Previous experience in an administrative or similar office-based role is preferred.
- Previous experience within a construction company
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Professional telephone manner and strong interpersonal skills.
- Confident written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities effectively.
- Familiarity with general office procedures, systems and equipment.
- Competence using Microsoft Office and other general office software.
- Ability to work independently while also contributing as part of a team.
- A proactive and dependable approach to work.
