We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about supporting children's development and well-being, with a strong background in childcare and early childhood education. Responsibilities
- Deliver personalised care programmes tailored to each child's needs, promoting their physical, emotional, and social development
- Support children with daily activities, including play, learning exercises, and routines such as feeding and nappy changes
- Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating environment in accordance with health and safety regulations
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's progress and any concerns
- Lead small group activities that encourage early childhood learning and development
- Manage daily administrative tasks related to childcare records and observations
- Demonstrate leadership by mentoring junior staff members and contributing to team planning sessions
- Drive company vehicles as required for outings or family visits, ensuring safety protocols are followed
Experience
- Proven experience working with children in childcare settings such as nurseries or early childhood education environments
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Experience with children of various ages, particularly in nursery or early years settings
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in childcare
- Valid driving licence preferred to facilitate transportation duties
