Chisou Japanese Restaurant is seeking an experienced and motivated Restaurant Supervisor to join our team. Our restaurant offers high-end Japanese cuisine, using amazing ingredients and providing friendly helpful service to our guests.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for Japanese cuisine and culture, as well as experience in managing a team within a busy restaurant environment. They will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the restaurant and ensuring the highest level of service is provided to our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervising the restaurant team, including front-of-house and back-of-house staff
- Assisting the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, including opening and closing duties
- Ensuring high standards of service are maintained at all times
- Managing and resolving customer complaints
- Coordinating reservations and ensuring the restaurant is fully booked during peak hours
- Ordering supplies and managing inventory levels
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and food hygiene standards
- Assisting the Restaurant Manager with administrative tasks as required
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within a Japanese restaurant
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards
- Knowledge of Japanese cuisine and culture
- Understanding of health and safety regulations and food hygiene standards
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Only 4 day working week
