The Opportunity:
Bowker Motor Group is looking for an energetic, creative and commercially minded Marketing Executive to join its award-winning Group Marketing Team.
This is an exciting and varied opportunity to work across an outstanding portfolio of automotive brands, including BMW, MINI, Porsche, Changan, Chery and LEPAS, which will launch across the Group this summer.
You will help to plan and deliver distinctive marketing activity that strengthens our brands, engages customers and supports commercial objectives. The role combines strategic thinking with hands-on delivery.
We are looking for a high-energy individual who can confidently manage multiple projects, work independently and take ownership of deadlines. You will be a strong creative and strategic thinker, with the ability to turn ideas into effective, brand-appropriate marketing activity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the development and delivery of quarterly marketing plans across all Bowker Motor Group brands, together with reporting and evaluation.
- Create engaging campaign concepts that combine commercial objectives with strong creative strategy and brand storytelling.
- Assist with and provide guidance on social media content creation, ensuring content remains engaging, accurate and appropriate for each brand.
- Plan, coordinate and deliver a varied programme of customer, corporate and community events. You will take responsibility for each stage of event delivery, including concept development, venue research, supplier management, customer communications, and on-the-day coordination.
- Identify, nurture and maximise relationships with local businesses, venues, influencers, community organisations and strategic partners.
- Manage Group and Centre website updates. Ensure online content remains current, accurate, customer-focused and compliant with individual manufacturer standards.
- Develop and create HTML email campaigns communications.
- Write scripts, briefs, shot lists and supporting copy for content productions.
- Lead and direct creative suppliers; and research suitable locations that reflect the positioning and visual identity of each brand.
About You:
The successful candidate will have:
- Proven experience in a marketing role.
- A degree in Marketing or a related subject, or a recognised CIM qualification.
- The confidence and initiative to work independently and take ownership of projects.
- The ability to prioritise a varied workload and consistently meet deadlines.
- Strong creative and strategic thinking skills.
- Excellent written communication and copywriting ability.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Confidence working in a fast-paced, multi-brand environment.
- A full UK driving licence and the flexibility to travel between Group locations and attend events when required.
Experience within the automotive industry would be a distinct advantage. Familiarity with WordPress, Elementor, Sitecore, Contentful, Dotdigital or comparable marketing platforms would also be beneficial.
