Job Description: Warehouse & General Labourer Operative
Reporting to: Stores Supervisor.
The Company
ITL Vacuum is a UK based manufacturer providing standard vacuum components and non-standard components, vessels and seals globally to Semi-conductor, Research, Life Science and industrial sectors.
Scope
To support in our warehouse project revamp and upgrade. You will be supporting in all aspects warehouse project and will be expected to do this while maintain the highest safety standards.
Responsibilities
· Support with dismantling, moving and building of stores racking.
· Safely carrying out DIY tasks
· Clearing and preparing areas
· Moving materials and stock as directed.
· Stocktaking products & materials as required
· Support and maintain a clean, organised, and tidy environment
· Adhere to all company Health & Safety policies and procedures
· Report issues, damages, or safety concerns to the appropriate supervisor
· Undertake any other reasonable duties as required by the business
The Person
Essential
· Experienced in using hand tools and power tools
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
· Good organisational and time management skills
· Basic numeracy and literacy skills
· Physically capable of carrying out manual handling duties
· Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
· Positive and flexible approach to work
· Safety-conscious
· Able to work accurately in a fast-paced environment
· Using equipment safely and correctly
· Maintaining good housekeeping standards, reporting hazards immediately.
Desirable
· Previous experience within a warehouse with Stocktake experience
· Forklift Truck licence
· Experience using ERP systems
Working hours
Mon-Thurs: 8.00am to 5.00pm
Friday: 8.00am to 4.00pm
Full time, Temporary 3 Month Contract
