Overview
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Pizza Chef to join our vibrant culinary team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and customer preferences
- Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety and hygiene standards
- Assist in the organisation and cleanliness of the kitchen, including cleaning utensils, surfaces, and equipment
- Manage multiple orders efficiently during busy periods to ensure timely service
- Maintain stock levels of ingredients and notify management of shortages or replenishment needs
- Collaborate with team members to uphold high standards of quality and presentation
- Follow health and safety regulations at all times, ensuring a safe working environment for all staff
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or a similar role within a kitchen environment
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques specific to pizza making and meal preparation
- Familiarity with food safety standards and hygiene practices in a commercial kitchen
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
- Previous restaurant experience or serving skills are beneficial but not mandatory
- Passion for delivering exceptional food quality and customer satisfaction
