Responsibilities
- Operate laundry machines and equipment safely and efficiently to process linens, towels, uniforms, and other textiles.
- Sort, fold, and organize clean laundry items to ensure they are ready for use or distribution.
- Monitor inventory levels of linens and supplies, notifying management when stock needs replenishing.
- Maintain cleanliness of laundry areas by adhering to health and safety standards at all times.
- Assist with pickup and delivery of laundry items within the property as needed.
- Follow proper procedures for handling delicate or special textiles to prevent damage.
- Support other housekeeping or hospitality staff with laundry-related tasks during busy periods.
Skills
- Previous experience in hotel or hospitality laundry operations is highly preferred.
- Ability to operate commercial laundry equipment safely and effectively.
- Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
- Good physical stamina to stand, lift, bend, and move items throughout shifts.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Clear communication skills for coordinating with team members and supervisors.
