Job Description
The role of Central Costs Business Partner is really important to us. This position reports to the Head of Financial Control, leading a team to help drive performance through insightful analysis, building strong relationships with key stakeholders to support our ambitious growth plans and providing independent challenge to the level and nature of costs incurred.
Your responsibilities day to day will be…

Full ownership of the end-to-end Group Cost function including P&L and balance sheet production, performance analysis and business partnering

Lead and develop a team to deliver high quality performance

Build strong working relationships and become a key point of contact for senior level stakeholders across all central departments

Build and maintain robust financial models and maintain monthly rolling forecasts.

Lead on the annual group costs budgeting process, liaising with senior management teams across all functions to aid with production of the 5-year strategic plan

Challenge the existing status quo for finance processes, reporting and controls.

Provide proactive assistance, support and guidance to the team, driving and promoting continuous improvement and efficiencies

Assist with audits, corporate tax returns and statutory account queries

Contribute to various ad-hoc projects and initiatives to support strategic goals
Qualifications
-
Minimum 3 years’ experience of working in a similar finance role
-
A highly driven and energetic individual who is passionate about making an impact upon the business.

Experience of working within a fast-growing business environment
-
Previous success of enhancing business performance by providing business partnering support
-
Experience of leading a team of finance professionals
-
Ability to produce board-level quality reporting and analysis
-
Commercial acumen coupled with strong technical accounting skills and excellent attention to detail

Experience of interacting across all levels of the organisation including dealing with non-finance people to gather relevant information and provide robust challenge

Qualified CIMA, ACCA or ACA accountant or equivalent
