My client is currently hiring for a Payments Policy Analyst.
This position sits right at the intersection of payments policy, payment systems, SEPA and European payments schemes, instant payments, crossborder payments, open banking and digital innovation. It’s a great fit for someone who enjoys analysing complex policy and regulatory issues, engaging with senior stakeholders and contributing to meaningful industry change.
In this role, you’ll:
- Monitor and analyse developments from the Bank of England, PSR, FCA and HM Treasury, as well as European and international bodies such as the European Commission and European Payments Council
- Contribute to policy work across UK Payments, SEPA schemes, instant payments, payment systems and crossborder payments
- Support key industry committees and working groups, including preparing briefings, agendas and minutes
- Draft briefings, reports and consultation responses that help shape policy and influence decision makers
- Collaborate with banks, fintechs, regulators and government on innovation, regulation, economic crime and international policy

Salary: £45,000 + Benefits + Bonus
Hybrid working: 2 days a week in the office
Location: City of London
