Your proactive approach will help streamline data entry, manage accounts payable, and support the use of leading financial software systems to keep our financial health on track. Responsibilities
- Perform precise data entry for invoices, payments, and financial records using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, or PeopleSoft.
- Assist with accounts payable processes by verifying invoices, processing payments, and maintaining vendor records.
- Support reconciliation activities by comparing financial data across multiple platforms including Workday and Xero to ensure accuracy.
- Manage documentation related to financial transactions, ensuring all records are complete and compliant with organizational policies.
- Collaborate with team members to update and maintain financial databases and reporting tools.
- Contribute to month-end closing activities by preparing reports and supporting audit preparations.
- Provide general administrative support for the finance department, including scheduling meetings and handling correspondence related to financial services.
Qualifications
- Proven experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero or PeopleSoft is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with Workday or other enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is a plus.
- Strong data entry skills with high accuracy and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of accounts payable processes and basic financial procedures within a professional setting.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience in financial services or related fields is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Ability to communicate clearly and work collaboratively within a team environment.
