A friendly and inclusive SEND school in Enfield is seeking a dedicated SEND Support Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis, Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:00pm.

What You'll Be Doing:
- Providing 1:1 and small group support to pupils with different special needs, including autism, learning difficulties and communication needs.
- Encouraging pupils' confidence, independence, and participation throughout the school day.
- Supporting pupils with classroom activities, personal development, and social interaction.
- Assisting teachers and therapists in delivering personalised tailored lessons
- Helping to maintain a safe, positive, and engaging learning environment.
What We're Looking For:
- At least 3 months previous experience working with children or young people in the UK is essential (Experience as a SEND Teaching Assistant, Support Worker, Care Assistant or Learning Support Assistant is desired)
- A positive, resilient, and empathetic approach.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils and colleagues.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is desirable, although we can assist with obtaining one.
