We are looking for an experienced HGV Technician to join our Nightshift team, carrying out servicing, maintenance, inspections, and repairs across a mixed fleet of trucks, vans, and trailers. The role involves fault diagnosis, MOT preparation and presentation, and accurately completing job documentation using online systems while maintaining high standards of safety and workmanship. The ideal candidate will have previous HGV Technician experience, strong technical skills, and a commitment to delivering quality work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Carry out Service, Maintenance and Repair of a mixed fleet of vehicles and trailers.
- Carry out inspections
- Complete MOT prep/ presentation
- Completion of all required paperwork, including job cards and service sheets using online systems
- Fault diagnosis and rectification
- To work safely and comply with H&S legislation and company procedures at all time
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in HGV Mechanics
- HGV Class 1 license preferable but not a must
- Good communication skills
- Functional IT knowledge beneficial
- Minimum 2 years post qualified experience is preferred
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Awareness of Health and Safety as it relates to our industry

- 4 on 4 off (Nights) – 12-hour shift with 30-minute unpaid lunch.
- Hours are 18:00 - 06:00
Salary
£22 per hour plus 20% nightshift rate
Overtime paid at £5 on top of basic rate per hour
