We are looking for a compassionate, dedicated, and enthusiastic 1:1 Teaching Assistant / SEN Wraparound Support Worker to join our team.
For the full-time position, the successful candidate will work as a Teaching Assistant within a classroom setting from 9:00am to 3:00pm, supporting the class teacher and helping pupils to access learning in a positive, inclusive environment. From 3:00pm to 6:00pm, the role transitions to providing dedicated 1:1 wraparound support for a child with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
The part-time position is focused solely on the 1:1 wraparound support, working from 3:00pm to 6:00pm.
During the wraparound hours, you will support the child with all aspects of their care and daily routine, including personal care, preparing snacks, encouraging independence, developing social and communication skills, engaging in activities, and ensuring their safety and wellbeing in a nurturing environment.
This role would suit someone with previous experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs in a school or educational setting who is passionate about making a positive difference in a child's life.
Pay: £12.80 per hour
