We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our vibrant team. Responsibilities
- Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily operations to ensure smooth service delivery.
- Supervise and motivate staff, including servers, kitchen personnel, and baristas, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Support food production and food preparation activities, ensuring dishes meet quality standards and presentation expectations.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to manage cooking schedules, food safety protocols, and inventory control.
- Serve as a point of contact for customer enquiries and resolve any issues promptly to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food safety standards and hygiene practices.
- Assist in training new team members on restaurant procedures, food safety, and customer service excellence.
- Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed to maintain efficient operations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in restaurant management or supervisory roles within the hospitality industry.
- Strong background in food production, cooking, serving, and food preparation.
- Previous experience in kitchen or culinary roles is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to supervise teams effectively.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in hospitality settings.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask under pressure.
- Experience working in a restaurant environment with a focus on customer service excellence.
- Barista experience is advantageous but not essential.
