About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Pastry Chef to join our team full-time. This role requires strong technical ability in laminating, baking, and finishing cakes, along with a solid understanding of wholesale production standards. We’re looking for someone who works well as part of a team and contributes positively to a busy kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and laminate doughs (e.g. croissants, pastries) to a high standard
- Bake a variety of cakes, pastries, and baked goods
- Decorate and finish cakes with precision and consistency
- Produce items efficiently for wholesale distribution
- Work collaboratively with the team to meet daily production targets
- Maintain quality, consistency, and presentation across all products
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and wholesale compliance standards
Requirements:
- Proven professional experience in a bakery or pastry kitchen
- Strong skills in laminating, baking, and cake finishing
- Experience working in a wholesale or high-volume production environment (preferred)
- Knowledge of wholesale production processes and food safety regulations
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and proactive
