Care Assistant (Nights)
Arden Lodge is a residential care home in Acocks Green, Birmingham, providing care for up to 44 residents. We have dedicated, staff who work on a person-centred approach, supporting residents in a respectful and empathic manner.
We are currently recruiting for two Night Care Assistants to join our friendly team. The role will require you to provide the best possible care and support to our residents, ensuring their needs are a priority. These are part time permanent position:
o 24 hours per week – 12 hour shifts
o Location – Acocks Green
o £13.01 per hour
Overall duties include:
Ø Assisting with personal care, mobility and hygiene at bedtimes and during the night
Ø Monitoring wellbeing, safety and security and health and safety
Ø Housekeeping and domestic duties as and when required
Ø Provide companionship
Ø Ensuring residents receive the highest possible quality of care and support
Ø Developing a rapport with residents and their families
The ideal candidate will have:
Ø Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ø Demonstrable empathy and a willingness to learn
Ø Excellent communication skills
Ø A flexible and creative approach
Pay: £13.01 per hour
