Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Bar Tender to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering excellent customer service, creating a welcoming atmosphere, and ensuring guests enjoy their experience. Previous restaurant or bar experience is preferred, but a positive attitude and eagerness to learn are equally important.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with company standards.
- Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and serve drinks promptly.
- Ensure all drinks are prepared safely following food safety regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces.
- Check identification to verify legal drinking age and prevent underage sales.
- Manage cash register operations, including handling payments and giving correct change.
- Monitor stock levels and assist with replenishing supplies as needed.
- Engage with guests to create a friendly atmosphere and promote repeat business.
- Follow responsible alcohol service practices at all times.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality or food service is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service.
- Excellent serving skills with a friendly and approachable manner.
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Good time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently.
- Ability to work well under pressure whilst maintaining high standards of customer service.
- A personable attitude with the ability to engage positively with diverse clientele. Pay: Up to £29,741.40 per year
