Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled, experienced Air Conditioning Engineer for our Company.
We design, install and maintain AC systems in both commertial and domestic settings.
Based in Horley, Surrey, we cover London, Surrey, Kent and parts of Sussex.
You will be supplied with a Van and a labourer.
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the operation, maintenance, and repair of air conditioning systems for our customers. Your experience and expertise in mechanical systems and schematics will be vital in performing routine installations, inspections, fault finding and servicing.

Responsibilities
- Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance on air conditioning units and related mechanical equipment to ensure peak performance.
- Diagnose mechanical issues using schematics and technical manuals, then execute repairs efficiently to minimize downtime.
- Lead maintenance teams during equipment repairs, upgrades, or installations, providing clear guidance and supervision.
- Interpret technical drawings and schematics to troubleshoot systems.
- Assist in construction or renovation projects involving HVAC systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards and project specifications.
- Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and system performance logs for future reference.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate equipment upgrades or system replacements that improve energy efficiency and operational reliability.
Requirements
- Valid CSCS Card.
- F-GAS Category 1 certificate.
- Full UK Driving licence.
- Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in air conditioning systems equipment repair.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and construction drawings accurately.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience supervising maintenance teams or contractors.
- Installation experience related to commercial and domestic AC system installation, repair and servicing.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and standards relevant to mechanical maintenance work on larger sites.

Pay: £40,000.00-£60,000.00 per year
