Walker Technical Solutions are a small privately owned company who specialise in the manufacture of conveyor systems and general fabrication . We have an upcoming vacancy for the following Position due to a long serving employee retiring
Position Time served Fabricator
This Position would suit a skilled fabricator who is looking for a new challenge undertaking varied and interesting works and projects ,
The ideal Candidate should ideally possess the following qualities & skills
- Skilled in welding in Stainless , Mild steel and aluminium using TIG and MIG ( light and medium gauge)
- Be able to produce work that meets the expected quality of equipment for the food industry
- Have some experience in mechanical assemblies and fitting ( this is not essential but a willingness to learn is)
- Be able to work and interpret to detailed engineering drawings and verbal instruction and to required tolerances
- Be willing to work both in the workshop and on customers sites , with occasional overnight stays required
- Have a flexible approach to working as , some overtime working will be required with some at short notice
- Be able to work as part of a team and on ones own initiative
- Hold a Full UK driving licence
