We have a new opportunity for a qualified Early Years Practitioner to join our well-resourced nursery working with either the children aged 0-3 years or 3-5 years, depending on experience.
As you will hopefully know already, this is more than a childcare role — it’s about building secure attachments, building relationships with parents, understanding each child’s individual needs, and creating a calm, caring environment where every child feels safe, valued, and truly seen.
What you’ll be doing
- Acting as a key person for a group of children
- Building strong, responsive relationships with children and their families
- Supporting daily routines such as feeding, sleep, and transitions with sensitivity and care
- Planning simple, meaningful experiences based on children’s interests and developmental needs
- Creating a nurturing environment that promotes curiosity, confidence, and emotional security
- Working closely with parents to ensure continuity of care and open communication
What we’re looking for
- A full and relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification (required)
- Previous experience working with children under 5 years old (required)
- A genuine passion for Early Years
- Understanding of child development, attachment, and safeguarding
Why join us?
- A well-resourced and thoughtfully designed nursery
- Ongoing training and career progression opportunities
- Extra leave on your birthday
- Regular, predictable working hours
- A setting that truly values and listens to the needs of it's practitioners
We know great practitioners make all the difference — and that is why, when you join our team, you will be provided with everything you need to thrive and enjoy coming to work each day because you enjoy the work you do.
Our nursery environment is regularly updated and improved with new resources, art materials are ordered weekly to support learning experiences and we arrange regular external visitors to bring learning to life.
Further to this, we are registered with a number of local training providers to support you in gaining further qualification that will help you in your career progression.
If you are ready to work with a team that supports one another and genuinely cares about children in the early years, then we’d love to hear from you.
