We are looking for a Inter Depot Class 2 Driver to work from our Chesterfield Depot, with the opportunity to earn over £36,000 per annum. This role will ensure that you deliver our fantastic range of products in between our depots in the evenings. The successful applicant will pride themselves on being a representative of the company and ensure that customer satisfaction is at the forefront. The role is based on 5 days a week, generally working 5.30pm to 1.30am, Monday to Friday and offers staff discount, pension and an employee assistance programme.
You must have a class 2 licence in order to be considered.
Duties will include:
- Carrying out relevant safety and maintenance checks, including temperature checks;
- Adherence to all relevant driver legislations;
- Deliver products inline with the designated route;
- Pick the order on the invoice and from the products loaded on the lorry.
- Unload the goods, taking care not to damage any products and place in the designated place;
- Check the goods with the other sites for the correct products and quantities;
- Make sure vehicle is left safe and secure while making delivery;
- You are responsible for the vehicle and the goods carried from the start to the end of your working day.
Expected hours: No less than 37.5 per week
