Residential Support Worker - Clervaux Rise
40 hours per week
£28,038 - £29,236 per annum
Sleep-ins paid at an extra £78.48 per night (this equates to approximately £3500 additional payment annually when working 1 sleep-in shift per week)

Working closely with young adults, you will be part of a team that provides consistent support to a number of residents with learning differences across both the day and residential provision. You will support the residents to access education and social enterprise opportunities during the day and then support them in a home life setting during the evenings and weekends. You may be required to provide personal care. You will have responsibility for promoting and ensuring the safety, care, wellbeing, learning and development of the residents, to enable their growth in confidence and social and practical skills.
Successful applicants should be able to demonstrate:
- A patient, caring, compassionate and young adults centred approach.
- Emotional intelligence and resilience with the ability to react calmly in challenging situations.
- Experience of supporting young adults with learning disabilities, developmental delay and/or Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), including those who may present with social, emotional and behavioural needs or behaviours that challenge.
- Excellent observational and communication skills and the ability to problem-solve and think creatively to enable our young people to reach their full potential.
This role requires:
- A full driving licence, with a willingness to drive as part of the role
- Attendance at training courses involving up to two overnight stays,
- Flexibility to work shifts across days, evenings and weekends
- Availability to cover weekly sleep in shifts
