We're looking for an ambitious, commercially driven Business Development Manager to help grow our client base, develop strategic partnerships, and identify new opportunities across the signage, display, and retail sectors.
The Role
As our Business Development Manager, you'll play a key role in driving business growth by identifying new opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and converting leads into long-term partnerships.
Working closely with our creative and production teams, you'll understand client requirements and develop tailored solutions that showcase the innovation and quality Colour Studios is known for.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new business opportunities across the UK.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
- Identify opportunities within the sustainable signage, cardboard engineering, retail display, exhibition, and POS sectors.
- Manage the sales process from initial enquiry through to project handover.
- Prepare proposals, quotations, and presentations.
- Attend client meetings, networking events, and industry exhibitions.
- Meet and exceed agreed sales targets.
- Work collaboratively with internal design and production teams to deliver outstanding customer experiences.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging opportunities.
We're looking for someone who is:
- Experienced in business development or sales within the signage, display, print, cardboard engineering, POS, or exhibition industries.
- A confident communicator with excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Commercially minded with a proven track record of winning new business.
- Self-motivated, organised, and results driven.
- Comfortable managing multiple opportunities simultaneously.
- Passionate about sustainability and innovative manufacturing solutions.
- Able to travel to client meetings when required.
- Full UK driving licence preferred.
