About Us:
Crown Manufacturing is a one-stop-shop manufacturing facility, bringing together sheet metal fabrication, tube laser cutting, an extensive woodshop, an automatic paint line, and a wet spray booth all under one roof. We're looking for a Spray Booth Operator to support our production process by applying high-quality coatings and finishes to a range of manufactured products. Responsibilities
- Maintenance responsibilities on a GEMA paintbooth and line, ensuring the track is runing smoothly and chemical water levels are correct to ensure a high level paint finish.
- Operate automatic paint line and offline spray booth efficiently to apply coatings, paints, or finishes on products with accuracy to produce a high quality finish product.
- Monitor spray equipment during operation, adjusting settings to ensure consistent application and finish quality. Notify members of management when new nozzles and euipment are needed.
- Support staff preparing surfaces prior to spraying, including cleaning and masking as necessary.
- Inspect finished products for defects or inconsistencies, ensuring adherence to quality specifications.
- Follow health and safety guidelines diligently, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Scope to learn and cover Wet spray painting roles, to efficiently support our Wet paint shop.
Skills
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot basic issues with spray equipment.
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, and fabrication techniques is advantageous.
- Ability to operate safely around industrial machinery and adhere strictly to safety protocols.
- Strong organisational skills with an eye for detail to ensure high-quality finishes.
- Good communication skills for teamwork and following instructions effectively.
Pay: £14.50-£15.50 per hour
