We are looking for an enthusiastic HR Administrator to join our HR team in Driffield. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in supporting employees throughout their journey with the business, providing high-quality administrative support and helping to deliver an outstanding employee experience.
About the Role
As our HR Administrator, you will be a vital member of the HR team, ensuring HR processes run smoothly and efficiently. You will support all aspects of the employee lifecycle, from onboarding new starters through to leaver administration, while maintaining accurate employee records and providing first-class support to colleagues across the business.
This role would suit someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, has excellent attention to detail, and is passionate about delivering great customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the first point of contact for HR queries via email, telephone and in person.
Manage the HR inbox and escalate urgent or sensitive matters where appropriate.
Prepare contracts, letters and employment-related documentation.
Maintain and audit HR systems, records, trackers and filing systems.
Coordinate onboarding activities, including contracts, inductions, right-to-work checks and HR system set-up.
Support probation reviews, performance review processes and HR projects.
Assist with the administration of employee benefits and payroll-related activities.
Support recruitment by posting vacancies and arranging interviews.
Produce HR reports and management information.
Take confidential meeting notes when required.
Support compliance with employment legislation, GDPR and company policies.
What We're Looking For
Previous experience in an HR Administration role (ideally 12 months or more).
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
High levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to handle confidential information professionally and sensitively.
Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
A proactive and positive approach with a genuine desire to help people.
Experience of HR systems would be advantageous.
Experience within construction or manufacturing would be beneficial but is not essential.
