Are you an experienced hairdresser with a passion for inspiring the next generation of professionals? Halls of Ivy Training Academy is looking for a motivated and knowledgeable Hairdressing Tutor & Assessor to join our friendly team on a part-time basis.
About the Role
You will be responsible for delivering engaging hairdressing training, supporting learners throughout their qualifications, and carrying out assessments to help them achieve their full potential. You'll play a key role in developing confident, skilled, and industry-ready hair professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality practical and theory-based hairdressing training.
- Assess learners in line with awarding body requirements.
- Support and motivate learners to achieve their qualifications.
- Monitor learner progress and maintain accurate records.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and professional learning environment.
- Ensure all training meets current industry standards and compliance requirements.
What We're Looking For
- A recognised Hairdressing qualification (Level 3 or above preferred).
- Assessors Award or willingness to work towards it.
- Teaching qualification
- Recent industry experience in hairdressing.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A passion for education and helping others succeed.
