Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces
- Maintain floor care by sweeping, scrubbing, waxing, and polishing to uphold safety and aesthetic standards
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, towels, and amenities to ensure guest satisfaction
- Follow established cleaning procedures aligned with health and safety regulations to promote a hygienic environment
- Conduct routine inspections of assigned areas to identify maintenance needs or cleanliness issues and report them promptly
- Use janitorial equipment efficiently and safely for industrial cleaning tasks when necessary
- Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleans during off-peak hours to support overall property upkeep
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services within hospitality or industrial settings
- Strong knowledge of floor care techniques including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and waxing
- Previous hotel experience or background in hospitality enhances understanding of guest service standards
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment and safety protocols ensures efficient task completion
