Duties
- Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV systems to monitor activity across the premises and identify any suspicious behavior or security breaches
- Perform loss prevention measures by observing and intervening in potential theft or vandalism incidents
- Control access points by verifying credentials of employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors to ensure authorized entry
- Respond promptly to security alarms, incidents, or emergencies, coordinating with emergency services when necessary
- Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security checks to ensure accurate record-keeping
- Carry out routine patrols of the facility to identify hazards or security vulnerabilities and report findings accordingly
- Provide first aid assistance when required, ensuring immediate response to minor injuries or health concerns
Skills
- Strong surveillance skills with experience operating CCTV systems effectively
- Knowledge of loss prevention techniques to minimize theft and property damage
- Ability to remain alert and attentive during long shifts while maintaining a professional demeanor
- Excellent communication skills for clear reporting and interaction with team members and visitors
- Basic first aid certification to handle minor medical situations confidently
- Familiarity with security protocols, emergency procedures, and incident documentation
- Ability to respond quickly and effectively in high-pressure situations
