Location: Birmingham / Hybrid. We operate a hybrid working model, with the team typically attending the office on Wednesdays and Thursdays. There may be occasions where additional office attendance is required to support training, team activities or business need.
Interview dates: 7th - 11th September
We are working towards a start date of beginning of October.
PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
We're looking for a highly organised and customer-focused People Services Administrator to join our multi-skilled People Services team.
The People Services Administrator provides administrative support across multiple People Services functions, including HR Services, Onboarding and Resourcing Administration. The role is responsible for delivering accurate, timely and customer-focused support throughout the employee lifecycle, ensuring compliance with BBC policies, procedures and service standards.Working within a shared service environment, the postholder will work flexibly across teams to support changing business priorities, workload demands and customer needs. The role requires strong attention to detail, effective stakeholder communication and the ability to manage a varied workload across multiple People Services processes.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & IMPACT
Provide administrative support across HR Services, Onboarding and Resourcing Administration.
Support candidates, employees and hiring managers throughout the employee lifecycle.
Coordinate recruitment and onboarding activities, helping to deliver a positive customer experience.
Complete compliance activities, including Right to Work and pre-employment screening processes.
Maintain accurate records and update People systems in line with policies and procedures.
Produce contracts, correspondence and other People Services documentation.
Respond to queries from employees, candidates and managers in a timely and professional manner.
Work collaboratively across the team to meet service levels and support changing business priorities.
Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance processes and customer experience.
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Essential Criteria
Experience providing administrative support within a busy customer-focused environment.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong customer service skills and the ability to build effective stakeholder relationships.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team while managing individual responsibilities.
Experience using business systems and maintaining accurate records.
A flexible approach and willingness to work across multiple People Services activities.
Desirable criteria
Previous experience within HR, recruitment, onboarding or shared services administration.
Experience coordinating interviews and supporting recruitment activity.
Experience administering Right to Work or compliance-related processes.
Experience supporting onboarding and pre-employment screening activities.
Knowledge of employee lifecycle processes.
Experience using SAP, SuccessFactors or similar HR systems.
You'll be highly organised, adaptable and motivated by delivering excellent customer service. You'll enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, managing a varied workload and supporting a range of activities across recruitment, onboarding and HR administration.
You'll be a strong team player who builds effective relationships, takes ownership of your work and is committed to delivering accurate, efficient and professional People Services support.
