We are currently recruiting for a Residential Support Worker to join the team at one of our homes in Rochdale.
You will be responsible for providing high-quality care, guidance, and support to children, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social development needs are met in a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment.
You will work as part of a team to deliver consistent, person-centred care in line with each child’s individual care plan. The role promotes positive outcomes through relationship-based practice, safeguarding welfare at all times, and helping children build the skills, confidence, and resilience
You will act as a professional role model, ensuring compliance with legislation, policies and Ofsted
Experience and Qualifications Required
- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent qualification) or willingness to work towards Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and complete within 2 years of commencing in the role (essential).
- Up-to-date training in Safeguarding, First Aid, Health & Safety, and Medication Administration (desirable).
- Experience working with children in a residential care or similar setting (desirable).
- Experience supporting children with emotional, behavioural, or complex needs (desirable).
Hours are an average of 37 per week worked on a 2 on 4 off rota

Pay: £13.25-£14.00 per hour
