Responsibilities
- Measure and install double-glazed windows and doors according to project specifications and schematics
- Prepare work sites by ensuring safety protocols are followed and tools are organized for efficient workflow
- Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment to accurately complete installations
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot installation issues and adapt plans as needed
- Conduct quality checks on completed work to ensure durability, insulation performance, and aesthetic standards are met
- Remove old windows or damaged glass units carefully while minimizing disruption to the property
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and any issues encountered during installation
Requirements
- Proven experience with construction-related tasks such as roofing, carpentry, masonry or general building work
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and schematics interpretation
- Knowledge of glazing techniques along with experience in fabrication or carpentry is highly desirable
- Familiarity with electrical systems or plumbing is a plus but not mandatory
- Ability to read construction drawings and schematics accurately for precise installation planning
- Strong physical stamina to lift heavy materials, work at heights, and perform manual tasks safely
- Excellent attention to detail combined with a proactive approach to problem-solving
