CNC Machinist (Mazak / Fanuc)

Hunters 4 Staff are working with a well-established, family-run engineering company based in Cheadle. They've built a solid reputation over the years and continue to invest in their people and equipment. They're now looking for an experienced CNC Machinist to join the team, someone who can confidently set and operate machinery and ideally bring programming experience to the role.
What you'll be doing:
- Setting and operating CNC machines - experience in either Mazak or Fanuc controls
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings to produce precision components
- Adjusting offsets and tooling to maintain quality and efficiency
- Carrying out basic programming or editing existing programs (if experienced)
- Inspecting finished parts to ensure they meet required specifications
- Working as part of a close-knit team to meet production deadlines
What we're looking for:
- Proven experience as a CNC Machinist with horizontal/vertical machining centres (setting and operating essential)
- Familiarity with Mazak or Fanuc control panels
- Programming experience is a big advantage but not essential
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
- A reliable, team-focused attitude
