HGV Vehicle Recovery Driver

We are currently recruiting for HGV Vehicle Recovery Drivers to join our established team based at our York depot. Due to continued growth, we have immediate vacancies available for the right candidates.
This is an excellent opportunity for experienced drivers looking for a stable, long-term role within a professional and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Attending roadside incidents to recover vehicles safely and efficiently
- Transporting vehicles to customer-specified destinations
- Delivering a high standard of customer service at all times
- Completing all relevant paperwork and ensuring compliance with safety procedures
Requirements
- Valid Class 2 HGV licence
- Driver CPC qualification (essential)
- Previous HGV driving experience
- Ability to pass a DBS check
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Mechanical knowledge is advantageous
Working Pattern
- 11-hour shifts
- Overtime available
- Alternate weekend working
- 2 nights per week on-call
