The role
As an Electrician in our Renewable Energy Division, you'll install and maintain Solar PV, Battery storage systems, heat pump control wiring and EV chargers for residential & commercial customers across Cambridge and the surrounding area.
Key responsibilities
- Installing Solar PV & Battery storage systems
- Installing Air & Ground source heat pump systems
- Installing Electric Vechile chargers
- Working across retrofit, renovations and some private new-build/self-build projects in both residential and commercial environments.
- Servicing and maintaining installed systems
- Delivering installations within agreed timescales
- Working closely with the project management team, roofing team, heating engineers and other team members
- Commissioning and testing completed installations
- Completing accurate paperwork and documentation
- Fault finding and diagnostics
- Delivering friendly, professional customer service on every job
Qualifications and Experience
- NVQ level 3 in electrical installations
- C&G 2391 or equivalent
- BPEC or equivalent qualification in SPV installations (Solar PV systems)
- BPEC or equivalent qualification in EESS (Battery systems)
- C&G 2921 qualification in EVCP installations (EV charger installations)
- Good communication skills and level of customer service.
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
- 4 years minimum experience in electrical installations
Please note: If you are an experienced and confident electrician but have limited experience in renewable energy systems, we are open to providing the necessary training and support to develop the right candidates.

Pay: £40,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
