We’re looking for a talented and motivated Chef to join our kitchen team. This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in the food they produce, works well under pressure and wants to be part of a growing independent hospitality business.
The Role You’ll be involved across the kitchen, including: * Preparing and cooking dishes consistently to our specifications * Working a busy service while maintaining high standards * Preparing fresh ingredients and completing daily prep * Maintaining excellent food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness * Monitoring stock, wastage and portion control * Following HACCP, allergen and food safety procedures * Working closely with the rest of the kitchen and FOH team * Helping maintain an organised, efficient and positive kitchen ### What We're Looking For We’re looking for someone who: * Has previous experience working in a professional kitchen * Is confident working independently as well as part of a team * Has good organisation and time-management skills * Remains calm and consistent during busy services * Understands food safety, allergens and kitchen hygiene * Takes genuine pride in presentation and quality * Is reliable, punctual and willing to take responsibility * Wants to develop their skills and contribute ideas Experience in a **steakhouse, grill or fresh-food kitchen** would be particularly beneficial, although attitude and ability are just as important. ### What We Offer * Competitive rate of pay based on experience * Staff meals * Tips * Opportunities to progress within the business * A predominantly evening-based working pattern * The opportunity to work with quality produce and develop your skills * A supportive independent business where good ideas are encouraged **Full-time and part-time positions available.** If you're passionate about cooking, have high standards and want to join an ambitious independent restaurant team, we'd love to hear from you.
