Hours: Monday to Saturday with a day in lieu during the week

MOT Tester Technician Opportunity in Peterborough
We are currently recruiting for an experienced MOT Tester to join a busy and well established automotive business in Peterborough. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified MOT Tester looking for a stable, long term position with a competitive salary, regular overtime, and excellent working conditions.
As an MOT Tester, you will be responsible for carrying out Class 4 MOT inspections, ensuring every vehicle meets DVSA standards while maintaining the highest levels of safety and customer service. Alongside MOT testing, you will alo complete light servicing, repairs, and general vehicle maintenance where required.
If you are a qualified technician with a valid MOT licence and enjoy working in a professional workshop, this could be the ideal role for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out MOT inspections on a wide range of vehicle types in line with DVSA regulations.
- Complete servicing, maintenance, and repair work as a skilled technician.
- Diagnose faults and carry out repairs efficiently.
- Ensure all MOT documentation is completed accurately.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe workshop.
Requirements
- Valid Class 4 MOT licence.
- Previous experience working as an MOT Tester.
- Qualified technician with recognised automotive qualifications.
- Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
