Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Bench Joiner / Laminate Fabricator to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating and assembling high-quality laminate & MFC products, ensuring precision and adherence to specifications. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in laminate fabrication, Post-forming, joinery, or related trades to develop their skills within a dynamic environment. Responsibilities
- Fabricate laminate & MFC components according to detailed technical drawings and specifications
- Assemble parts using hand tools, power tools, and joinery techniques to produce durable finished products like vanity units , pre-assembled duct kits & cubicles
- Operate various woodworking machinery and equipment safely and efficiently
- Measure, cut, shape, and finish materials with precision to meet project requirements
- Conduct quality checks throughout the fabrication process to ensure standards are met
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and optimise workflow
Skills
- Proven experience in fabrication, assembly, and carpentry techniques is essential
- Proficiency with hand tools such as chisels, saws, drills, and screwdrivers
- Competence in using power tools including routers, sanders, and drills
- Strong understanding of joinery methods and laminate fabrication processes
- Knowledge of post-forming is advantageous but not essential
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during material handling
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality control
- Good organisational skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Prior experience working in a manufacturing enviroment is desirable
