Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Tyre Fitter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fitting, repairing, and maintaining tyres on various vehicles. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The Tyre Fitter will ensure that all work is performed to the highest standards of safety and quality.
Duties
- Fit, balance, and repair tyres on a variety of vehicles, including cars, trucks,.
- Conduct thorough inspections of tyres to identify wear and damage.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and equipment for tyre fitting and maintenance tasks.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics related to tyre specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries regarding tyre options and maintenance.
- Adhere to all ASME codes & standards during the fitting process.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in tyre fitting or related mechanical roles is preferred.
- Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, calipers, pipe threading equipment, and tube bending tools.
