New Homes Carpeting, a Contract Flooring Company, based in Harlow are looking for an Assistant Warehouse Supervisor.
The salary for the role is £30,000 per annum working 42.5 hours a week 7am – 4.30pm at our Harlow premises Monday to Friday.
The company offers 20 days holiday and bank holidays (plus extra days holiday for Christmas shutdown) and a pension scheme.
The Company works with some of the UK’s largest New Home Developers and provide most flooring types.
Our busy warehouse supplies our team of fitters with the materials they need each day before they travel to site, supporting the loading of the vans with the correct materials required for each job. These materials are collated and organised by the warehouse team in advance of each working day.
Duties include:
- Receiving goods into the warehouse
- Storing, recording and labelling all materials correctly
- Collating materials ready for collection by fitters
- Liaising with the sales team in regards to stock levels
- Supporting others in the Warehouse to provide great service
- Unloading materials from deliveries
- Using forklift in the warehouse to move materials
- Loading materials with fitters
- Delivering materials to site in company van when required
- General warehouse housekeeping duties
Skills & Experience
- Good literacy and numeracy skills
- FLT licence a benefit
As an Assistant supervisor we expect you to be able to deputise for the warehouse supervisor and model and advise others on good warehousing standards with particular focus on following Health & Safety rules and procedures.
