The Role
As Deputy Nursery Manager, you will support the Nursery Manager in the day-to-day running of the nursery while ensuring high standards of care, learning, and safeguarding are maintained.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the leadership and development of the nursery team
- Ensuring high-quality childcare and learning experiences
- Promoting safeguarding and welfare standards
- Supporting staff supervision and development
- Building positive relationships with parents and carers
- Assisting with compliance, policies, and nursery operations
- Supporting the Nursery Manager with the overall management of the setting
What We're Looking For
- Experience working within a nursery or early years setting
- Previous leadership experience as a Room Leader, Senior Practitioner, Third in Charge, or Deputy Manager
- Level 3 Early Years Qualification (Essential)
- Strong knowledge of EYFS and safeguarding requirements
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Passion for delivering outstanding childcare
