An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Dental Receptionist to join our lovely clinical team. We are looking for a warm, friendly, motivated , customer-oriented , pro-active , team player to undertake the operational & front desk duties of a growing dental practice.
The position is for 4 days a week (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday & Saturday).
Timing : 8.30 am -5.30 pm (Mon, Wed, Thursday)
9am - 4pm (Saturday)

Key responsibilities :
· Managing end to end patient journey : Organising consultations, treatment planning with help of the Dentist, arranging appointments & scans, leading financial discussions with patients, maintaining communication with patient and practice regularly, maintaining documentation and records.
. Supporting the Business Partners and the clinical team to ensure smooth running of the practice on day to day basis and contribute to growth plans
· Meeting and greeting patients, providing an excellent first impression and customer service
Requirements:
- Must have minimum 3 year of experience in a dental practice environment working as Dental Receptionist / TCO/ Practice Manager
- Some experience of practice management is essential
- Must have experience of working with Dentally / SoE or similar software used for patient booking system in modern Dental Practices
- Must have prior experience of working in a mixed Private/NHS dental practice in leading the day to day front desk operations of a busy practice eg. patient booking, referrals , managing lab work, stock management, daily cash-up etc.
- Demonstrated ability to explain dental treatment plans and financial aspects to ensure patient understanding.
- Experience of dealing with customer complaints and resolutions
- Experience of executing marketing promotions (eg. Invisalign Open days) and driving in-house conversions would be desirable.
- Some experience in enhancing social media presence of the business desirable but not essential
- Strong organizational, communication (written and oral) ,interpersonal skills & IT skills
- Familiarity with CQC regulations and safety standards to support CQC inspection
- Experience of working as a dental nurse desirable but not necessary
