Warehouse Operative
Stocks 2015 Ltd are based in Trafford Park where we are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic person to join our small team.
The role of the Warehouse Operative is to assist in all aspects of the warehouse process, reporting to the Supervisor they need to be conversant with all aspects of the warehouse processing and be able to assist or provide cover for colleagues when necessary.
The working hours are Monday to Friday 07:00 to 16:00 with overtime in exceptional cases.
Duties & Responsibilities
The expected work will primarily consist of but not limited to:
Loading & unloading of vehicles using a forklift & by hand where necessary
Manual handling and re-palletising of products
Counting & checking in received goods
Manual picking of orders for dispatch by pallet or courier
Wrapping & labelling orders ready for dispatch
Maintaining a safe, clean & tidy work environment
Training in and use of Warehouse Management System, Label printer etc
Liaise with colleagues, customers and suppliers
Provide absence cover for Warehouse Supervisor when necessary
Coordinate with transport companies for incoming & outgoing deliveries
Key holding with daily opening and closing responsibility
The Successful Candidate will have:
5 years previous experience in a Warehouse environment
Current counterbalance Fork Truck Licence
Ability to communicate professionally at all levels with good written & verbal English
Attention to detail with a good attitude & capable of problem-solving
Computer literacy with MS Excel, word and WMS system knowledge would be an advantage

Salary: £28,000
Schedule Monday to Friday 0700 to 1600 hours
