Role Description
The Trainee Office Administrator will support the smooth running of the office by handling day-to-day administrative tasks, including filing, data entry, document preparation, and maintaining records. The role involves answering phone calls and emails, directing inquiries to the appropriate team members, and providing basic customer service to clients and suppliers. The Trainee Office Administrator will assist with scheduling appointments, organizing meetings, and supporting the coordination of service visits and project documentation. Training will be provided on office systems, processes, and use of office equipment to ensure accurate and efficient administrative support. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Southampton.
Qualifications
- Strong Office Administration and Administrative Assistance skills, with the ability to manage documents, records, and daily office tasks.
- Familiarity with Office Equipment and basic IT tools (e.g., email, word processing, spreadsheets), or willingness to learn.
- Effective Communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication with colleagues, clients, and suppliers.
- Customer Service skills, with a professional, courteous approach to handling inquiries and supporting client needs.
- Good organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks in a busy office environment.
- Willingness to learn, follow procedures, and develop knowledge of the compressed air services industry.
- Basic numeracy and literacy; previous office experience or relevant coursework is an advantage but not essential.
- Ability to work on-site in Southampton and collaborate effectively within a small, supportive team.
Pay: £25,420.00-£33,000.00 per year
