Duties
- Plan and deliver structured swimming lessons tailored to different age groups and skill levels, from beginners to advanced swimmers
- Demonstrate proper swimming techniques, water safety skills, and stroke development with clarity and encouragement
- Assess each participant’s progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support improvement
- Maintain a safe swimming environment by enforcing safety rules, supervising participants closely, and responding promptly to emergencies
- Foster a positive atmosphere that motivates learners to challenge themselves and achieve their goals
- Keep accurate records of attendance, progress reports, and safety incidents as required
Skills
- Proven sports coaching experience with a focus on swimming or water-based activities
- Strong teaching abilities with the capacity to communicate clearly and motivate learners of diverse backgrounds
- Excellent knowledge of water safety protocols and rescue techniques
- Ability to assess individual skill levels accurately and adapt instruction accordingly
- Energetic personality with a passion for helping others develop confidence in the water
- Good physical fitness to demonstrate techniques effectively and respond swiftly in emergency situations
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive environment that encourages participation and personal growth
Pay: £22.00-£25.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

Education:
- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
Experience:
- Teaching swimming: 2 years (required)
Licence/Certification:
- Teacher Reacue, DBS, Level 2 teaching or equivalent (required)

- United Kingdom (required)
