We’re looking for a new Client Partner to join our team as the primary point of contact for a number of key clients to manage a mix of retainers and projects.
Working as part of our Client Services team and alongside talented specialists across the agency, this is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate or someone with a few year’s experience.
As a primary point of contact for a portfolio of clients, you’ll play a key role in shaping long-term partnerships and ensuring every client receives an outstanding experience. At Cargo, we pride ourselves on delivering services that exceeds expectations at every stage of the journey.
The Role
You’ll be at the heart of our client relationships, partnering with organisations across a diverse range of industries and sectors. Taking the time to understand each client’s business, ambitions, challenges, and opportunities, you’ll become a trusted extension of their team.
Working collaboratively with our delivery teams, you’ll help turn client goals into successful outcomes, ensuring projects run smoothly, communication is clear, and expectations are consistently surpassed. You’ll champion the client’s needs internally while helping identify opportunities to add value and strengthen partnerships over time.
What You'll Be Doing
- Building strong, trusted relationships with a portfolio of clients and becoming their go-to strategic partner.
- Regular client communication through face to face meetings, calls and e mails.
- Gaining a deep understanding of clients’ businesses, objectives, and long-term goals.
- Collaborating closely with our design, dev, and digital marketing teams to ensure exceptional work is delivered on time and to the highest standard.
- Translating client requirements into clear, actionable briefs for delivery teams.
- Keeping clients informed and engaged throughout the project lifecycle, providing proactive communication and expert guidance.
- Ensuring every client receives a tailored experience that reflects their unique needs and ambitions.
- Helping identify opportunities to grow client relationships and maximise the value we deliver.

Essential
- Up to 3 years experience in a client facing or customer service role – this doesn’t need to be in an agency.
- Confidence to meet new people.
- The desire to challenge yourself and step out of your comfort zone.
- A commitment to the highest standard of client care.
- Great communication and excellent organisation skills.
- A keen eye for detail.
- Good at problem solving and solution finding.
- Thriving under pressure and delivering to tight deadlines.
- Confidence to work independently but equally as part of a team.
Desirable
- Commercial awareness.
- Understanding of design, digital and web practises.
- Experience with managing and maintaining Content Management System’s (mainly WordPress).
