Retail Sales Assistant – Museum Gift Shop. We are looking for a reliable, friendly, and customer-focused Retail Assistant to join our busy city centre museum gift shop team.
Pay: £12.71 per hour
Hours: 9:15am – 5:30pm (4:30pm finish October–March)
Working Days: Saturday and/or Monday
Key Responsibilities:
- Processing customer purchases and handling cash transactions
- Replenishing and organising shop stock
- Receiving and processing deliveries
- Maintaining a clean, tidy, and well-presented retail environment
- Supporting general day-to-day shop duties in a fast-paced setting
Requirements:
- Friendly, approachable, and professional manner
- Strong customer service skills
- Confident handling cash
- Fluent in English
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment
- Retail experience preferred but not essential (full training provided)
Please note: Holidays are not permitted during July and August. Midweek shifts and holiday cover may also be available.
Pay: From £12.71 per hour
Expected hours: 6.0 – 8.0 per week
