This role offers a starting salary within Nacro’s pay structure of £25,776 Entry with expected progression to £26,807 Established within the first year, subject to meeting clear criteria and performance standards, with further pay progression available in the future. Nacro’s pay framework provides transparent progression points and supports ongoing professional development and career growth
This role requires regular travel across an allocated area and therefore, a Full Driving License and access to your own vehicle with business insurance are essential.

About the Service
Our supported housing services will provide trauma-informed, person-centred support to adults with a history of homelessness and complex support needs. Many of the people we support may experience challenges linked to mental health, substance use, offending history, domestic abuse, social isolation or long-term exclusion from services.
Alongside our mixed services, we will also deliver dedicated women’s services, creating safe, empowering and supportive environments where women can recover, rebuild confidence and move towards independent living.
The service will focus on:
- Preventing repeat homelessness
- Supporting people to maintain accommodation
- Promoting independence, wellbeing and recovery
- Improving access to health, training and employment
- Supporting positive move-on outcomes
- Delivering compassionate, strengths-based support
- Building strong partnership pathways across Manchester

Waking Night Support Worker
You will provide overnight support, welfare checks and crisis response to ensure residents feel safe and supported throughout the night.
You will maintain accurate records, respond professionally to incidents and contribute to a safe and psychologically informed environment.
We are looking for people who:
- Remain calm under pressure
- Have strong communication and observation skills
- Can work independently overnight
- Understand safeguarding and professional boundaries
