Residential Support Worker
About Us
Progressive Independence provides high-quality residential care and supported accommodation for children and young people. We are committed to safeguarding, trauma-informed practice, and ensuring every child has the support, stability, and opportunities they need to thrive.
The Role
As a Residential Support Worker, you will build positive relationships with children and young people, providing consistent care, emotional support, and safeguarding. You will support education, hobbies, life skills, and independence, while helping to create a safe, nurturing, and structured home environment.
You will play a key role in promoting positive outcomes, encouraging personal development, and helping young people reach their full potential.
The role includes long-day shifts, sleep-ins, evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.

Example rota:

The cycle then repeats.
This equates to approximately 125 shifts per year, providing a predictable and structured working pattern. Additional shifts are regularly available for team members who wish to increase their earnings.
