Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Content and Events Assistant to join our dynamic team! This role offers an exciting opportunity to support the planning, coordination, and execution of engaging content and events that showcase our organisation’s mission. FESPA are an organiser of B2B exhibitions and events with a big focus on education and content.
This is an entry level role that would suit a new graduate interested in a career within the events industry.
As a key member of our team, you will help create compelling content, support event logistics, and ensure seamless communication across all stakeholders in the lead-up to our upcoming event in Germany in April 2027.
Description
- Research and liaise with speakers, venues, entertainment acts, potential delegates and other suppliers, maintaining a clear record/database of options and actions taken
- Source materials for marketing purposes; speaker images and biographies and co-ordinating quotes/comment from speaker on their forthcoming presentation
- Logistical administration – venues, catering, stand builders, printers, AV suppliers, ensuring clear understanding of budgets and deliverables for suppliers
- Liaise with key partners and event sponsors
- Assist with all elements of pre-event delivery, including but not limited to booking accommodation and travel, joining instructions, purchasing items for onsite activities, freight packing and list management.
- Assist with onsite features delivery - (eg. hostess and supplier management, speaker and judge management, feature preparation and build)
- Some international travel may be required
- Administration of post-event follow-up (eg. attendee feedback surveys, thank-yous to speakers, sponsors and suppliers)
- Support Online Content Manager in delivering the annual content plan, with particular focus on content upload and management on respective FESPA websites, as well as social channels.
- Support the planning and delivery of social media production and on-site filming requirements during FESPA exhibitions
- Has responsibility for following company policies, procedures and for seeking to drive continual improvement in sustainability performance where possible.

This is a part time position with the successful candidate expected to work four days a week. Flexible working is also avaliable across five days. Homeworking is also avaliable with the candidate required to work from our office HQ located in Dorking, Surrey three days per week.
Pay: From £22,000.00 per year
