Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Duty Manager/Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our busy Pub & Hotel establishment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring exceptional guest experiences, managing staff, and maintaining high standards of service. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with supervisory experience and a passion for hospitality to contribute to a dynamic and growing team within a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the team to ensure smooth operations, mainly focused on the day to day Food & Beverage operations
- Provide outstanding guest services, addressing any concerns or complaints promptly and professionally, we are a Gastro Pub, with high expectations on Service
- Lead and motivate staff to deliver high standards of customer care and operational excellence
- Monitor service quality and implement improvements where necessary
- Assist with staff training, development, and scheduling to optimise team performance
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
- Oversee cash handling, reservations, and other administrative tasks as required
- Maintain a welcoming environment that promotes positive guest experiences
- Support the management team in implementing policies and procedures
Qualifications
- Proven management experience within the hospitality industry or similar environment
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams
- Excellent interpersonal and guest service skills
- Organised, proactive, with the ability to handle multiple priorities effectively
- Knowledge of hospitality operations, including reservations, customer service, and health & safety standards
- Flexibility to work shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
- Previous experience in a supervisory role is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates

Pay: £28,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
